Over the past winter months we have been busy with the design of this compact city garden in Zwijndrecht.

To present everything as clear as possible the 2D design is converted to a 3D video presentation.

The wishes were clear, connect a terrace in the evening sun, inside and out with each other, maintenance and all neatly designed with durable materials that (almost) does not require maintenance.

Image very decisive in small town gardens are the property boundaries. This garden is therefore opted for a custom boundary. The white plastered walls in the living come back in the garden by means plato flexible plastic walls with stuclook. These walls are interspersed with black douglas wooden planks that are vertically mounted. This gives a very nice contrast. In order to make the property boundaries lower and seem to give the garden more depth there are two tight pergolas constructions can be placed over the entire width of the garden.

In the living room are ceramic tiles used for 80x80cm. These run later in the same line through the garden. The main terrace is finished with Fibron composite boards and is slightly raised relative to the rest of the garden.

Two evergreen holm oaks give height and texture to the garden. The rest of the planting will comprise maintenance blocks with ornamental grass and exuberant flowering perennials.

As eye-catching two Corten steel planters will be placed.

Also, think about the garden lighting. On the white walls, four up / down wall fixtures. The borders are pointing spots. Attractive and functional.
